Rachel and Kyle's Wedding | Part 1

We were honored to take pictures for my good friend Rachel's wedding. The wedding was held in Denver, Colorado at the Denver Temple. Rachel looked absolutely beautiful! Here are some of my favorites. More to come.



This next one might be my favorite in this series. I love how her veil is blowing in the wind. (Her best friend made this veil - isn't it beautiful?)

I haven't posted anything in a while...not because we haven't had shoots, but because we've had so many shoots that I can't keep up! We are also expecting and I am six months along, so that contributes to my lack of posting. However, I am determined to do better so I can share our work here.

Kai, Isaiah and Aiden: Point Defiance Park | Tacoma Area Photographer

I have been MIA for a while, due to my super busy schedule of working full time, running a side business and expecting our first child. But I am trying to catch up and share some of our fun shoots with you.

These three boys are so cute and despite them not really wanting their pictures taken, I think we all had a pretty good time.




I love how Isaiah is looking to the side and sticking his tongue out in this one.




This little one is all boy. He loved playing in the dirt. I love how he has dirt everywhere, even on his eyelashes (in the bottom left picture).





And we couldn't end the shoot without a picture with mom.

This last one is one of my favorites but I can't decide if I like color or black and white better; I love her bright blue eyes in the color version but I love the contrast in the black and white version so I decided to share both.

Julie's Senior Pictures: UWT Campus [Tacoma Area Photographer]

Julie and I went to UWT together. She is also a photographer so we took each others [college] senior pictures on campus. It kept raining on the days we scheduled to do this and we were running out of time. On this particular day it was raining on and off but we decided to go for it anyway. For many of these shots, I held an umbrella above my camera with one hand while shooting with the other (not an easy thing to do) or set the umbrella up on the ground and laid under it. I was okay with the rain because it made for some really pretty light. Here are some of my favorites of this beautiful girl.
